Kings Park Education Survey Competition Terms and Conditions

The Prize

  1. One school pass to a Kings Park Education excursion of your choice (excludes Special School Events). The program must be redeemed in 2020 and cannot be exchanged for cash. Please note that all other costs associated with the excursion (for example transport costs) must be covered by your school.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Employees of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) and Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) are not eligible to win.
  2. Entry to the Kings Park Education Survey competition is open to all Western Australian residents who complete an online survey that includes their email address by 5.00 pm (AWST) on Friday, 28 February 2020.
  3. The winner will be contacted via email on Monday, 2 March 2020.
  4. The winner of the competition will be drawn at random using an automated process.
  5. The winner is responsible for all other expenses incurred during travel to and from the prize location.
  6. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize must be claimed by their parent or legal guardian.
  7. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided during the entry process.
  8. If the prize winner fails to make contact with the BGPA to claim their prize within 72 hours, then they forfeit their claim and the BGPA reserves the right to draw another winner.
  9. Competition winners agree to have their first names published by BGPA.
  10. The BGPA shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation or with any prizes offered.
  11. The BGPA will not pass on the email addresses of competition entrants after the winners have been notified.
  12. Competition entrants agree to be added to Kings Park Education newsletter list.
  13. The BGPA reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions and if we do so, we will publish the amended version on this website prior to the close of the competition.

Mounts Bay Road share path detours

The City of Perth will be undergoing works on the shared path along Mounts Bay Road from Thursday 23 March until Monday 8 May 2023. Detours through Kings Park will be in place.

School Ball parking

Temporary parking on Fraser Avenue will not be provided for buses, limos and cars, and fines will apply.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is responding to the confirmed detection of an exotic beetle, the Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer (PSHB) in the Perth metropolitan area.
