Enjoy a movie under the stars this summer at the outdoor cinema located in May Drive Parkland in Kings Park. Presented by Moonlight Cinema, enjoy the newest released movies and some all-time greats. Pack a picnic dinner or purchase food and drinks onsite and enjoy a beautiful summer evening with us.

  • Cinema season runs from Thursday, 2 December 2021 to Sunday, 27 March 2022.
  • Movies screen Tuesday through Sunday with exceptions for some public holidays.

Show times

Gates open at 6.00 pm and screening starts at 8.00 pm during December, January and February and 7.00 pm during March.

Tickets

Tickets are available via the Moonlight Cinema website or at the gate from 6.00 pm each screening night. Ticket costs increase slightly when purchased online.

COVID-19 safety

To support the safe operating of our cinemas, Moonlight Cinema will request contact tracing details of customers as per the State Government Directions. Contract tracing is mandatory for all guests attending our premises. Minor/dependants are able to be traced via the QR code when an adult/carer completes the process. Parking

  • Entry to May Drive Parkland is via Saw Avenue from Thomas Street or via Poole Avenue from Winthrop Avenue.
  • Please park safely and legally along May Drive.
  • ACROD parking is located behind Zamia Cafe.
  • Please refer to our Notices for closures and service interruptions that may impact this event.

Naturescape closed February

Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park will be closed from Tuesday, 1 February 2022 until Tuesday, 1 March 2022.

COVID-19

The Premier of Western Australia has announced mask-wearing in public indoor venues and on public transport will be mandatory in Perth and Peel from 6.00pm Sunday 16 January.

As the COVID-19 situation in WA evolves, the BGPA will continue to provide updates and make operational changes as needed.

Naturescape summer opening hours

In response to warming Perth summers and an increased frequency of very high fire danger days, BGPA has considered optimum visitor comfort and safety by implementing a change in summer opening hours in Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park from 29 December – 30 January 2022.
