Make a colourful leaf house to decorate your backyard!

Follow our simple steps and create your very own leaf house.View image slideshow

What to do:

  • Step 1: Reuse a cardboard box or carton or even a coffee cup to make the house.

  • Step 2: Using scissors, cut a front door and a window from your container with the help of an adult.

  • Step 3: Next, explore your backyard or local park to look for different coloured leaves to stick onto your house. Look for leaves with different shapes and colours.

  • Step 4: Glue your leaves onto your house so it becomes camouflaged in your environment.

Tips:

  • We used home-made glue (half a cup of flour and half a cup of water – or search for another recipe on the internet). Make your own or use what you have.
  • Put your leaf house in the garden and you may get some residents!
