Primary School Bites
Join us for bite-sized STEM activities for primary school students.
It’s hard to visit us here at Kings Park Education at the moment, but we’re excited for you to participate in our Primary School Bites programs.
As part of Kings Park Education’s Teacher Resources, we're sharing resources about the Kings Park bushland, local wetlands, native plants, plant adaptations and the environment.
Meet some of the scientists who work in our park and get an insight into the cultural significance of Kings Park.
Students can connect with Kings Park via our social media pages using #STEMActionInKingsPark.

Environment
Banksia Woodland ecosystems are unique and important places that need to be protected.

Adaptations
Fire plays a big role in WA ecosystems and has been used by Aboriginal people for thousands of years.

Plants
There are 326 species of local plants growing in the Kings Park bushland, which represents about 15 per cent of the native plants of the Perth region.
