The Aboriginal Art Gallery exhibits the works of Aboriginal artists from Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Aboriginal artists work in the gallery and are happy to share their knowledge about culture, artefacts, bush food and medicine from the Nyoongar area.

Kaarta Gar-up lookoutView image slideshowThe Aboriginal Art Gallery is in a unique location, overlooking the best views of Perth city and the Swan River. The gallery is below the Kaarta Gar-up lookout on Fraser Avenue and is available for special occasions, exhibitions and school programs.

Monday - Friday
10.30 am - 4.30 pm

Weekends and Public Holidays
11.00 am - 4.00 pm

*Open every day of the year except New Years Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Accessibility

Wheelchair and pram access is available and toilets are located nearby.
