The Aboriginal Art Gallery in Kings Park closed on 30 June 2019 after 23 years of service to clients, Aboriginal artists and the community.

Kaarta Gar-up lookout

The closure was due to the non-renewal of the Gallery’s lease, given the premises’ ageing infrastructure and poor public access.

The proprietors of the Aboriginal Art Gallery decided to retire from the business after more than two decades of rewarding experiences, rather than seek new premises.

A selection of Aboriginal art and products from the Gallery will be soon available at Aspects of Kings Park Gallery Shop.
