Media visits

All media are required to contact the Bookings Officer prior to visiting Kings Park and Botanic Garden, and Bold Park. This will ensure the location is available and your visit goes smoothly.

A person must not, without permission, take still or motion pictures on the designated land by photographic or electronic means for the purpose of public display, broadcast or transmission (Botanic Gardens and Parks Regulations 1999 Part 5: Section 28). Special consideration applies to filming and photography in the State War Memorial Precinct.

COVID-19

The Premier of Western Australia has announced that some transitional restrictions will apply until 12.01 am on Saturday 8 May 2021. As the situation evolves, the BGPA will continue to provide updates and make operational changes as needed.

Bold Park access disruption

A section of the Bridle Trail in Bold Park will be closed from the 12 May to 17 May 2021 due to maintenance works.

Lotterywest Family Area visitor disruption

Ivey Watson Playground will be closed from early June to late July 2021 to facilitate the Stickybeaks Cafe and Ivey Watson Playground upgrade works.
