Bush Bubs - Kings Park Playgroup
Nature play at Poolgarla Parkland in Kings Park, for little blossoms and buds aged 0 to 3 years!
We welcome you and your children to our beautiful parkland to experience a range of nature-based play activities. Each week, there will be a variety of open-ended play offerings that your children can explore, according to their unique interests and pace.
These invitations to play are designed to stimulate senses, ignite curiosity, imagination and grow knowledge and confidence. The benefits of combining play with nature are enormous not only in terms of skill development and real-world understandings but most importantly for well-being and physical health.
Being outside with your little one exposes you both to fresh air, vitamin D and can boost immunity. It's so good for you!
A typical playgroup session will include:
- welcome gathering and songs with our Early Years Kings Park Education staff
- nature walk or wander
- range of nature-based and sensory play activities to explore
- craft activities (collective and/or individual)
- farewell song
This friendly, welcoming playgroup is designed for you and your children to have lots of fun while connecting with community and nature.
The session includes 90-minute experience at Poolgarla Parkland Kings Park. Please note that parent/carer participation and supervision is required in every session - at least one adult to two children.
Proudly supported by Rio Tinto.
