This free guided walk in Kings Park is run for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community of Perth.

Event information

Wander among Western Australia's unique native flora in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Discover the glorious diversity of the plants to be found from the coast to the desert, from the rugged north to the southern forests.

This walk will be led by one of the Kings Park Volunteer Guides, supported by two AUSLAN interpreters from Deaf Connect.

Prepare for your walk:

  • Wear sturdy, closed-in shoes and come dressed for the weather with a hat, jacket, sunscreen and drinking water.
  •  This walk requires a low to moderate level of fitness and is suitable for most wheelchairs and prams.
  • Toilet facilities and parking are available nearby.
