This walk acknowledges the WA women named on plaques along Fraser Avenue from our starting point at Aspects Lawn.

These plaques of women include the first Australian politician, the CWA, charity, welfare and education. You can hear of the endeavours and achievements of leading and lesser known Western Australian women, working for equality of women and children in the 20th Century. They worked tirelessly to bring forward many of the changes that are in our society today. Learn about Aboriginal women, authors, medical practitioners and botanical artists while walking on the lower path. At the State War Memorial Precinct women in the areas of conflict are highlighted.
