Our Botanic Garden Biosecurity Trail was developed in partnership with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and the Dieback Working Group (DWG) and was installed for the start of National Biosecurity Week 2026 National Biosecurity Week 2026 - DAFF.
This short self-guided trail starts from just past the Gija Jumulu (Giant Boab) and ends at the Chamelaucium and Anigozanthos Garden, highlighting some of the main biodiversity threats to WA flora. Read more about some of the steps the team at Kings Park are undertaking to safeguard the unique flora and ecosystems of WA. Scan the QR codes along the way to learn more and to follow the simple steps you can take to combat common threats.
