Kings Park Education provides practical on-site education for enthusiastic members of the public on a variety of topics, such as ideas for excursions and inspiration for teaching in the classroom, as well as community workshops.

Bookings are essential for all community programs and we recommend making your booking at least one month in advance to avoid missing out.

Naturescape closed February

Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park will be closed from Monday, 1 February 2021 until Tuesday, 2 March 2021.

Concert traffic interruptions

Road and carpark closures will occur in Kings Park and Botanic Garden in February-March 2021 due to concert events.

Farewell and thank you Grady and Lesley

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) would like to extend a sincere thank you and farewell to two of our longest serving staff members, Lesley Hammersley and Grady Brand who will retire from the Authority in December 2020.
