Navigation and map skills in the park.

The Kings Park orienteering course is a great introduction to navigation skills.

Students will learn how to successfully read a map; identifying common symbols, use the scale, contour lines and problem-solving skills, to navigate a series of control points, discovering interesting plants and completing challenges along the way.

The course is a great opportunity for students to work in a team to avoid getting geographically compromised!

'We really enjoyed our day ... seeing the students overcome the challenges - will be back.' - High School Special Education Teacher
