Thomasia purpurea x solonacea

A hardy and floriferous understorey delight.

This upright shrub grows to 80cm and produces striking racemes of rich purple paper flowers. Whilst this species can flower intermittently throughout the year, the main show of flowers is between late winter to late spring. The foliage is deep green covered in stellate hair, giving the plant a ‘fuzzy’ appearance.
