Draw with freedom and creativity, without fear, a fun workshop with Geri Barr.

With a passion for the Australian bush, particularly eucalypts, Geri Barr uses photography, textiles and drawing to explore themes of home and belonging. Drawing especially, is an important art form in Geri’s practice.

Combined with the technique of ‘slow looking’ and listening, drawing allows the mind to slow down and appreciate the details which deepens her understanding of the landscape and its elements.

In 2024, Geri was awarded a Dahl Fellowship from Eucalypt Australia for her work on the project, “The Art of Listening”, which has been shown at three solo exhibitions.

All material will be supplied to participants.
