I’m an ecologist conducting research in areas of rare species or threatened processes that informs practical outcomes for biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration.

My research interests include the conservation biology of plant species and ecological communities; the ecological and genetic impacts of ecosystem fragmentation on plant populations, including plant-pollinator or plant-disperser interactions and gene flow; the dynamics and management of remnant native vegetation; and the restoration or translocation of rare and threatened species.

Research themes

  • Landscape ecology
  • Restoration ecology
  • Ecological and conservation genetics
  • Pollination and dispersal ecology
  • Threatened species biology
