Acacia bifaria

A low-maintenance shrub bursting with yellow firework blooms over the spring months, this shrub adds colour to the driest corners of the garden.

A low lying semi-prostrate shrub with bright yellow globular flowers resembling a mini firework from August to October.

The pom-pom flowers sit above the zigzag phyllodes by a small stem. New growth begins vibrant red and ages to a deep red. The flowers are followed by twisted legume pods.

In cultivation this species thrives when cluster-planted in groups. When mature these plants will entangle themselves creating a wonderful dome shape.
