Eucalyptus erythrocorys

Illyarrie

With attractive smooth, white bark the Illyarrie grows between 3 to 8m high, making it a great tree for home gardens and verges.

Vibrant red bud caps give way to bright yellow flowers between February and April, an eye catching and ornamental contrast of colours.

The species name erythrocorys is from the Greek, erythron – red and korys – helmet, referring to the bright red bud cap or operculum.
