Hakea victoria

Royal Hakea

Royal not only in name but in stature, with uniquely variegated foliage bound to give your garden the WOW factor.

A sparsely branched upright shrub from 1.5 - 3m high offers incredibly unique leaves. This species has distinctive reticulate venation throughout the broad stiff foliage and produces a wonderful gradient colour with the leaves beginning orange, turning yellow then green as you move towards the apex. The leaves are alternating along the column-shaped main stems - this is where you can find the inconspicuous creamy white flowers (July - October) nestled in the axillary attachment points.
