Bring the whole family along to celebrate the return of spring at Everlasting Nature Play Day! Set among the beautiful bushland surrounds of Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park, this free community event is packed with hands-on nature activities designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and outdoor adventure.

Enjoy a day of exploration and discovery as you:

  • Tinker, build and create at The Tangle with Educated by Nature
  • Explore the stories of Kooyar Kep through Noongar games, storytelling and crafts
  • Get hands-on with creative nature experiences from Sand Sculpture WA
  • Wander into magical encounters with the Eco Fairies
  • Build cosy hideaways at the Cubby Corner and mix up nature-inspired creations at the Pixie Potion Parlour
  • Meet fascinating feathered friends with Birds of Prey WA
  • Create your own bush critters and fairy doors at Banksia Base with Annette from Rubis

Nature play supports children’s physical, social and emotional development by encouraging creativity, curiosity, problem-solving and a deeper connection with the natural environment.

Suitable for families with children 2 - 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

This is an outside venue. Activities will proceed in most weather conditions. In cases of Severe Weather Warning, extreme heat or Fire Danger, events will be cancelled.
