Kings Park provides free parking only for those visitors who remain within the park boundaries. If you are leaving Kings Park for whatever reason you will need to move your vehicle under Botanic Gardens and Parks Regulations 1999 Regulation 14(1c). Penalties apply for non-compliance. 

Please adhere to all parking guidelines and signs for the safety and convenience of all park visitors. Do not park on lawns, over kerbs, in garden beds or on footpaths. Verge parking is permitted unless otherwise stated by signage or line marking.

We want you to enjoy your visit, so take care of your valuables and do not leave them unattended in your vehicle.

Concert traffic interruptions

Road and carpark closures will occur in Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Saturday 25 March 2023 due to a concert event.

School Ball parking

Temporary parking on Fraser Avenue will not be provided for buses, limos and cars, and fines will apply.
