Flowers in Focus photography competition open for 2025
Did you enter our fabulous Flowers in Focus competition last year? Well it's back, bigger than ever in 2025 and we’re so excited to see your magical Western Australian wildflower photos!
Send us your best photo by Friday 5 September 2025 for your chance to win prizes and the opportunity to have your image displayed in an outdoor exhibition in Kings Park!
The Flowers in Focus photography competition is open to all student, amateur or professional photographers and aims to promote the uniqueness and beauty of Western Australia’s diverse flora – especially our wildflowers. There are plenty of plant species in flower already in Kings Park and Bold Park and right across our great State!
How to enter:
- Please read the Terms and Conditions for full competition and prize details.
- Take your photograph of a native Western Australian wildflower. Photos should be approximately 2-10 MB in size. Please note, file sizes smaller than this will not be judged.
- Complete the Flowers in Focus entry form online.
- Entries must be received by midnight (AWST) Friday 5 September 2025.
- A maximum of three (3) entries per person will be accepted.
- The winners will be announced in October 2025.
Prizes:
- Prize Winner 1: 1 x $100 Aspects of Kings Park voucher, 2 x Department of Parks and Wildlife 14 Day passes, 1 x Moonlight Cinema double pass
- Prize Winners 2 - 10: 2 x Department of Parks and Wildlife 14 Day passes, 1 x Moonlight Cinema double pass
- All winners: Photo display in Kings Park
